Any i know how to force a elementary pin on EVO 4g manually. I am unable to sync with my commutation server, as EVO 4g is not supporting Pin and non prompted me for the pin selection either. I had everything working fine only afterwards doing hardreset i am unable to sync with my exchange server.

Has any else seeing this issue?

My wife received the aforementioned error when setting upwards her exchange account. Her company also requires a security pin.

The acting solution for her was to download Substitution for 2.0 by Touchdown. It seems to accept ignored the security pin requirement , though the interface is a trivial hard to work with. K-9 didn't work either. Haven't tried Moxier, however.

Her old Hero with Fresh 2.1.1 (Android 2.1) was able to sync with her exchange account and configure a security pin. I wonder if the htc mail application from that rom would run under the htc framework on the evo?

i got same mistake all i did was get back to first screen retype everything and boom worked like a charm

Thanks for the tip. Nosotros tried going through the process again in case we were in the same situation every bit you (several times in fact), but no luck. We even tried setting up her commutation account using htc mail on my phone (we both have Evo'southward). Information technology did not piece of work on either of our Evo'south.

I think it is unlikely that her substitution provider is at mistake, since they created exchange. Does your exchange provider require a security pivot?

At least at that place are 3rd party exchange apps that work well.

If anyone got this error and brand information technology it work delight post the resolution. This works for me one time but after I reset the device it didn't work :-(

I am having the same issue.. Nothing works, not even touchdown. I can see in Touchdown that simple pivot is being requested, just at that place is no mode that I take found to set it upward. I *recall* this is why it is balking.

My visitor upgraded to exchange 2010 and now my EVO won't sync. Getting "Failed to create the account. Please endeavour over again later."

It was working just fine earlier they upgraded from Exchange 2007.

and so i got past the business relationship name screen what i did is i only replaced the mail.apk thats in system/app on my EVO 4G with another one from a rom i had in my hard drive

re-create attached mail.apk to sdcard root

open ES explorer and go to settings to enable root explorer and file organisation

go to postal service.apk in sdcard and hold tap to edit then copy

now go to arrangement/app and find mail.apk thats already installed, hold and rename to mail service.bak (or any)

then just tap and hold to copy the new postal service.apk and reboot

it worked for me.. hope it works for you

Need to have root, NAND unlocked, and use Root Explorer.

Same error, the copying the new mail service.apk and rebooting worked for me.

The universal fix for the "Failed to create the account please try once again afterward" while adding exchange server on android roms is

1) Add together your account in Settings -> Accounts & Sync
2) In the 2d last footstep, uncheck all three options (mail, contacts, calendar)
3) Finish the configuration and your account should go created
4) Click on the created account and check back the three options (mail, contacts, agenda)

Hope this help y'all - I discovered this by risk and it works all the time.

i) Add your business relationship in Settings -> Accounts & Sync
2) In the second last step, uncheck all three options (post, contacts, calendar)
3) Finish the configuration and your account should get created
4) Click on the created account and cheque dorsum the iii options (mail, contacts, calendar)

Hope this aid you - I discovered this by chance and it works all the time.

I know this is a onetime thread but the to a higher place did not work .

We had to recreate a user on our Active Directory and Commutation 2010 and when we wiped his HTC Wildfire nosotros cannot setup the exchange business relationship. Keep saying it cannot create the account.

Everyone got any clue all?
